                Robert Burton EPK

For only spending just a short time in the entertainment industry, Robert Burton has done his very best to make a rather large splash in it!

This charismatic and energetic performer has entertained thousands in theater with such works as "Tony and Tina's Wedding" and the "Murder Mystery America" series.  He's also created many memorable film characters like the cold and calculating Russian mobster Shone in the drama "Worst Night Ever", and the inept but still menacing Shane in the comedy "Little Blue Pill".  Robert has contributed to the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) by working gratis to send the world the message about how important it is to believe in yourself, your industry, and a common cause that unites so many others to help open film patron's eyes to new and fresh perspectives.

Robert has always had an innate talent for humor and comedic timing. If you couple that with the uncanny ability he has to imitate most accents, voices, and sound effects that he hears, you've got a very funny guy!  Interestingly enough, Robert is most usually cast as a villain.  He's still trying to figure that one out...

He has had a history of diverse jobs, just like many other actors who were working their way through life before they found their one true passion. Robert has been a carpenter, McDonald's food service handler, grocery stock boy, farm-hand, writer, casino surveillance technician, and a software test engineer among other things.  Interestingly enough, he was also a soldier for many years (about 9).  Robert served in the Marine Corps and later in the Army as an Airborne Ranger. He served further onward in the Special Operations community. This background definitely helped to contribute to Robert's "can-do, and let's do it now" attitude.

Never one to settle, Robert always keeps testing himself with more increasingly diverse character roles and immersions as he charts his course for the stars! Where will he surface next, and in what context or who?  Stay tuned...
